Lego Switch

So yesterday I ordered $115 worth of standard LEGOs. I'm starting my collection so I can begin making "mecha" style creations. This is not a permanent switch away from bionicles, but instead a way for me to expand the range of my creations and lessen the limit that comes from bionicles. Also, its going to be sooooo much fun!

That said, if during the Summer, I develop my standard LEGO techniques to a high enough level, I should be able to finally make the Master Chief. Well, a Spartan at least. I don't have enough green for a legitimate Master Chief.

I started the Liger remake last week and wow! I love how its coming out. I changed the color scheme and fixed the anatomy and joint strengths and used newer techniques. I just have the torso to go and I'm done! Not to long now!

With the new LEGOs coming in, I'm going to put the year long project I've been working on on hold. At least until I can get around certain problems I'm having.


Updates for future LEGO projects:
-Adding codename: "Lilium" to the queue.
-Taking out "TT"
-Started "Liger Remake"
-Starting "Godzilla" after "Lilium"
-Finished Hunter
-Adding Brute Hammer instructions
-Canceling "Bionicle Mecha"

hey, erm... I was just wondering where you got all of the pieces for your lego models- I usually don't have the right pieces, the wrong colored ones, or they're used in models that I'd rather keep because they're cool.

So I think that maybe you can give me a hint of where I can get those specific pieces individually, or if they're only found in boxed sets.

All the pieces I have are from Lego sets, but if you want them individually I'd advise going here: [link]=P

Bricklink has all of the pieces that I have used for a reasonable price. Most people who've built my stuff had to order pieces from here.
