Arcanine by retinence Arcanine by retinence
I got a DD!

If you are interested in a commission, either leave me a note or email me at Retinence@gmail.com.

-If anyone knows a brick and mortar store in central jersey that I can buy a decent backdrop from, please let me know. I have no idea where to buy photography equipment that isn't online.

This is my version of the Pokemon, Arcanine. It was made for Brickfair Virginia this past weekend. It took a full month of nonstop building to finish and has been in design since last December. This is my first real statue, in that it is entirely designed for this pose and cannot move.

This is entirely supported on its one front paw. There's no trick photography hiding the support structure. I left all of the imperfections of my backdrop in because photoshopping it out would've diminished the effect of the one paw support.

It'll break only if it tips to any side. Otherwise it is fairly stable, as Brickfair attendees can attest to.

The suggester said: While there are a number of incredible MOCs in retinence's gallery, this one takes the cake in both skill and the ability to capture a very "live" piece of work. It's beyond outstanding, both technically and conceptually. Arcanine by ~retinence ( Suggested by Kayru-Kitsune and Featured by Astralseed )

I could look at many of your sets and know right away what they're supposed to be. Amazing work.
