They're normal Lego. I usually use technic and Bionicle.

Many of the pieces I use aren't on Pick a Brick. I buy my pieces from Bricklink.com

System Lego is normal Lego, as opposed to technic or Bionicle.

Not necessarily. It's in most cases cheaper to buy them this way because I buy what I want and not a bunch of pieces that I'm tossing aside.

Getting those system bits and graduating college are probably the best things that have helped your MOCing =P

It's pretty cool to see how you've improved over the years Ret. Especially when you compare the first MOC in the 07 category to your Tiger, lol.

That first mode isn't really representative of my skill back then. I had way better models that I never took pictures of because they were taken apart while that first one lived.

And yea, college left me no time to work on any model. Also, using Bricklink and organizing my pieces helped tremendously.
