Lego: Project Protogee

This is my greatest accomplishment yet. Protogee (pronounced pro-toe-zhee) is an Eva mecha based model. Not entirely Eva though because I took out certain elements. These elements did not fit in with the sword, shield and wings style I wanted to create.

How it started: I made the design for the sword and had inspiration to make a model based on that. Then the shield came about and then the wings. I didn't know what to do for the body so i created an altered Eva mecha.

This is the first model that I created a skeleton before I created anything else. It totally paid off. This had to have a huge amount of strength to carry all of that and still be extremely pose-able and flexible. (Everything is pose-able. Even the mouth!)
