Daily Dev!!! Sweet.

For those wondering: This is mainly made with Bionicle, which is a branch of Lego.

My entry for the BBC contest #61 at BZPower.com.

The contest is to make a muscular man. Should I enter this or fix it up first? I'm kind of too lazy to fix it up, but I have plenty of time before the contest ends.

Build time: (from conception to last touches) 8 hours.

Malrik by ~retinence Lego creations are a relatively new addition to the sculpture gallery and here is a prime example of how very cool Lego art can be. Be sure to visit this artist's gallery for more clever Lego sculpts. ( Suggested by !sweetychan and Featured by `LabyrinthCreations )

What piece is the head? It looks like the back panel from the mahri masks, but the face plate doesnt look like anything familiar.

That. Is. AWESOME.

I looked through your gallery, and I am amazed. You have a lot of creativity, and IMO, you should be a set designer.

One thing, though. What's that lower part of his face? The chin part? I can't seem to recognize that part.

Thanks! It's a Throwbot visor. They were the precursor to Bionicle.

Easily the coolest Bionicle creation I've seen on DA!

Okay, this is just getting ridiculous. Creation after creation, and my amazement can't and won't let up. The way these pieces are used I wouldn't have thought possible. But here they are, cohering into one great creation.

May I ask though, where you acquired the white Mahri-visors used on the chest from? I don't believe I've seen them in that color before..

I bought them on Bricklink. I don't buy sets anymore unless they're Hero Factory (which has pieces that are impossible to find on Bricklink.)
