This is 1 of 2 new MOCs built for Brickfair this weekend.

I promised long ago to build a Spartan. I've tried many times but failed miserably each time. Since then, every model I've made had the purpose of practicing new techniques to use for the Spartan. This has taken me way too long to build. This is part of a larger Vignette that I have planned out, but haven't made yet. I'm taking it very slowly and making sure each part is the highest quality I can muster.

There are still a few placeholder parts that I need to remake. But I'm saving that for later.

More pics and poses will be posted after Brickfair.

or I'd pay you for this. I am a huge fan of your work.

Thanks! The helmet alone is $30, the full armor is $300. Send me a note if you are interested.

I think I'd get a helmet, but in green/olive green? I'm still not sure. Also, is it possible for you to attach a keyring to it?

If I modify the design, green is possible. A keyring can't attach directly to it.

huh. I just transferred the prices. I think its nineteen pounds to thirty dollars, so we're all good their. Any chance that the design can be modified so a keyring could fit?

The natural place to put the keyring is in the eyes of the mask piece on top. It won't fit there directly, so I'd need to have a second very small ring to connect the eyes to the keyring.

If you'd like to order it, please send me a note or email me at Retinence@gmail.com. I don't like discussing order details in a comment thread.

I must ask, what kind of pieces do you have the fingers connected by here?
Reply
:iconretinence:
The fingers are attached to rigid tubing, which is attached to 2 bar claws, which is attached to an inverted dish.
