Another pokemon I wasn't going to build until I realized it was possible. The lever/tubing technique (not sure if anyone has used it like this) made him the most dexterous creation I've ever made, capable of some crazy balance acts. I could've made him much better had I had a few pieces in the right colors.

Btw, Medicham is one of the coolest Pokemon ever, especially for not being a legendary or rare. He's in my top 3.

Is there really enough tension in the arm joins to pose them like a normal action figure or is it a pain to reposition them every time?

The problem really isn't the arm, it's the shoulder, which can come off easily if twisted the wrong way. The arm itself is pretty stable, although I wouldn't have him carry anything. Posing them is fairly easy.
